For those of you who know us well you knew it was coming. Things have been far too quiet and far too calm in the King household for far too long.
Granted, our last big adventure (The Big Bee Convenience Store) took a bit out of us and it required longer than usual to recover.
However, it has now been over a year since we sold our little prison and it is time to spread our wings and see where the wind will take us.
As it turns out…the wind is blowing quite strongly in a Westardly direction and as per our usual senseless sensibilities we must follow where opportunity calls us.
Some of you already know where I am headed with this but many of you whom I have not seen recently will not know that Paul and I have decided to move West…..far West. We have secured ourselves a lovely little 3 bedroom house on a 30 acre farm just North of Victoria on Vancouver Island in British Columbia.
When we were visiting the farm during our Tour of the Big Picture in March we fell in love with the place and they just happened to be building a 3 bedroom house coming available for rent in the near future. There were a number of opportunities that presented themselves to us while we were there and it seemed incongruous with our adventurous nature to not seize them fully.
The timing (as always with us) is rushed and a bit scattered.
I will leave ahead of Paul as he has some commitments here that he must tidy up before he can join me in paradise.
So my last day in Ontario is June 24th. I would have told everyone sooner but the date just recently got pushed up so I didn’t know I would be leaving so soon.
I hope this isn’t too much of a shock. We ourselves are admittedly still reeling at the granduer of this next phase of our lives. I’m not sure we have fully grasped all that we are leaving behind.
I will miss you all dearly as you are all so special to me.
We have a beautiful home in the middle of paradise to which you all have a standing invitation for as long as you can come. This invitation goes out to everyone, no matter how long it has been since we have spent time together. We are close to snow-capped mountains, giant Red-Wood forests, frolicking sea-lions, pods of killer whales, surfing waves, world class scuba diving, skiing and snowboarding and much, much more.
How could you not come!!!!????
I am hoping to see as many of you as possible before I leave but if I don’t see you. I love you and come visit soon!
